Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details (such as through Google or Apple sign-in) to provide and secure our services.
  • Tracking Data: We collect and store the tracking numbers you submit to fetch package status from carriers and deliver live updates to your Apple Wallet. Once a package is delivered, this data is automatically removed from our active systems.
  • Support Enquiries: If you contact us via the support form or email, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Cookies: We use only strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
  • Log Data: Our servers automatically record information such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and access times. This data is used for security, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers (for Apple Wallet integration).

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including communicating with shipping carriers to obtain package status and sending updates to your Apple Wallet via APNs.
  • Authenticate your account and maintain session security.
  • Process token purchases and Premium subscriptions.
  • Respond to your support enquiries.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Advertising

TrackIt does not display advertising and does not share your data with advertising networks. The Service is funded entirely by token purchases and Premium subscriptions.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information with third parties in the following limited circumstances:

  • Shipping Carriers (via 17TRACK): To request and relay tracking status for your parcels.
  • Apple (APNs): To deliver live Wallet order updates to your device.
  • Hosting and Infrastructure: We use Vercel for hosting and Supabase for data storage. These providers process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Payment Processing: Token purchases and Premium subscription payments are handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your payment card details.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Data Retention

  • Tracking data: Automatically deleted from our active systems once a parcel is delivered.
  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Permanently deleted upon account deletion (see Data Deletion).
  • Log data: Retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (see Data Deletion).
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
  • Request a portable copy of your data.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
