Apple Wallet Order Tracking Not Working? What to Check
You bought something, it's on its way, and Wallet shows nothing. Here are the reasons a package doesn't appear in Apple Wallet, in the order worth checking them, and what to do when it still won't show.
1. The shop doesn't support Order Tracking
Apple's Order Tracking shows what merchants choose to send to Wallet. It works automatically for select Apple Pay purchases on iOS 16 or later, and through a Track with Apple Wallet button on the order confirmation screen on iOS 17 or later. A shop that hasn't built either one won't appear, and that's most shops. Apple says as much on its own support page: Order Tracking might not be available on all orders and can depend on the merchant.
2. You paid another way, or with another Apple Account
Automatic orders come from Apple Pay purchases, so a card paid in the shop's own checkout won't create one. To see orders placed on your other devices, you also have to be signed in to the same Apple Account on the iPhone you're looking at.
3. Mail tracking is off, or your iPhone doesn't support it
iOS 26 can find orders in your email, but only on iPhones that support Apple Intelligence. To turn it on:
- Open Settings and tap Wallet & Apple Pay.
- Tap Order Tracking and make sure Mail is switched on.
- Open the order email and tap Track. You might be asked to tap Allow.
If your iPhone is older or you're on an earlier version of iOS, that setting isn't there and Mail can't add orders.
4. You're looking in the wrong place
Open the Wallet app and tap Orders, or More and then Orders. You can also tap your card, then a recent transaction, to see its Order Tracking details.
5. The details look wrong
Wallet displays whatever the merchant provides. If the status or dates aren't what you expect, Apple's advice is to contact the merchant, since Apple doesn't control the information.
Still not there? Add the tracking number yourself
If you have the tracking number, you don't need the shop or Apple's detection to cooperate. TrackIt creates the Wallet order from the number, for any of 3,000+ carriers, and updates it as the parcel moves.
- Paste the tracking number on trackit.international.
- Sign in or create a free account.
- Tap Add to Apple Wallet, or scan the QR code on a computer.

Frequently asked questions
Why is my package not showing in Apple Wallet?
Most often the shop doesn't support Apple's Order Tracking, so it never sends the order to Wallet. Other causes are paying without Apple Pay, being signed in with a different Apple Account, or having Mail tracking switched off or unavailable on your iPhone.
How do I turn on order tracking in Apple Wallet?
Open Settings, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then Order Tracking, and make sure Mail is switched on. Mail tracking needs iOS 26 or later and an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence. Then tap Track in the order email.
Can I add a tracking number to Apple Wallet myself?
Apple's Order Tracking has no field for a tracking number. TrackIt does: paste the number from any carrier, sign in, and tap Add to Apple Wallet.
Apple's details on Order Tracking come from its support page, Track orders and purchases in Apple Wallet.
