Can Apple Wallet track packages?

What Apple Wallet tracks on its own

Wallet has a feature called Order Tracking. It lists orders from shops that support it and shows their status, so you can see a package moving without opening the shop's app.

There are three ways an order reaches Wallet: you pay with Apple Pay at a participating merchant (iOS 16 or later), you tap the Track with Apple Wallet button on the merchant's page (iOS 17 or later), or Mail finds the order in an email on iPhones that support Apple Intelligence (iOS 26).

What it doesn't do

It can't add a parcel from a bare tracking number.
It doesn't follow orders from shops that haven't set it up.
It doesn't look up the carrier for you.

When Wallet has nothing to show: add the tracking number yourself

If the shop doesn't support Wallet's order tracking, or you only have a tracking number from an email or a seller, TrackIt fills the gap.
