Google Wallet delivery notifications: how they work

A parcel pass from TrackIt updates in Google Wallet as the carrier scans the parcel, and Android notifies you when the status changes. There is one limit to know about.

What you get

When the carrier records a new scan, the pass changes in Google Wallet and Android shows a notification for the change. You don't need to open an app to see where the parcel is.

The daily limit

Android limits how many pass notifications you get in a day, so a parcel with a lot of scans in one day might not notify you for every one. The pass itself is always up to date when you open Wallet.

Get updates for any tracking number

Google's own order tracking only follows orders it finds in Gmail, in the US. For anything else, paste the tracking number into TrackIt For Android and tap Add to Google Wallet.
