How to track a package in Google Wallet without Gmail
Google Wallet's built-in tracking only sees orders in Gmail. If your emails go somewhere else, the parcel never shows up. The tracking number gets it in anyway.
Why other inboxes don't work
Wallet gets its orders from Gmail, with package tracking and smart features switched on. An order that was sent to Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud or a work address is never read, so it never appears.
Add it with the tracking number instead
The email address doesn't matter, because TrackIt never reads your inbox. It only needs the number.
- Open the shipping email in whichever inbox it arrived and copy the tracking number.
- Go to trackit.international/android and paste it.
- Sign in and tap Add to Google Wallet.
Common questions
Can Google Wallet read orders from Outlook or Yahoo?
No. Google Wallet reads orders from Gmail.
Does TrackIt read my email?
No. You paste the tracking number yourself.
Can I forward the order email to Gmail instead?
You could, but Google says the feature only works in the US and only for supported shops, so it isn't reliable. The tracking number works every time.
